Allyson Felix

Allyson Michelle Felix was born Los Angeles on November 18 1985. The father of the child, Paul Felix is an ordained Minister at Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. As for her mother, Marlean Felix is a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix showed a flair in athletics from the beginning, and soon discovered her athletic abilities during her time at Los Angeles Baptist High School. At her first attempt she was ranked among the top two athletes at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships in the 200-meter sprint in only 10 weeks. Felix finished her high school year in 2003 and became a part of Adidas to become professional athlete. In the following year, she was a student at the University of Southern California studying elementary education. Felix won her first Olympic medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics which took place at Athens Greece. She broke the Junior World Record taking 200m in 22.18 second. In 2005, at the Helsinki World Championships, Felix became the youngest winner in the world in the 200m. In 2007, she was able to defend the title in front of her Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix was a regular competitor in Beijing, London Rio de Janeiro, as well as Tokyo. She always finished at the top of the podium in every event.
